Saturday June 27, 2009 Soulja announced via Twitter that the awaited album "Afterbirth" is completed and is awaiting its July 14, 2009 release date. Soulja recently released "And It Begins.." as the "Afterbirth" promo cd. "And It Begins..." is still avaliable for download. Everyone hopes that "Afterbirth" lives up to its promising of being better than the previous album from Soulja which was entiltled "The New Coming" which was released December 22,2008 and now have over 500,000 digitial downloads. "Afterbirth" comes off with two released singles "I'ma Get Mines" as the debut single and "This Is How We Do It" as the second single.
