Soulja has kept his fans update on the whereabouts of "Afterbirth" via his Twitter. Soulja recently reported that "Afterbirth" maybe finished earlier than he expected. "The album is about 35% done I have a few skits to do & now waiting on some collaborations tracks to come back." Soulja posted on his Twitter. "Afterbirth" is still a awaited album from Soulja since "The New Coming" release. In a interview with Soulja he explained how different "Afterbirth" varies from the last albums he released. "I think overall this album is a bit deeper in tone with a side that I kinda hid in other songs and albums. "Tha Trap" series was nice but I think I went really commercial with "The New Coming" and on this one. I wanted to take alot of commercial tracks and concepts from this album and keep it raw with emotion. Alot of the tracks done is R&B tracks and kinda life oriented tracks. The only commercial song I can say that is on the album is "I'ma Get Mines" besides that track its really raw." More information will come on "Afterbirth" and other projects of Soulja in the near future.
