April 6th, 2009 was the original release date for "Afterbirth" although the fans didn't get a album. A alternative cover of "Afterbirth" was released. It baffles fans again with what cover will be the final and official cover for the album. It was the same with "The New Coming" cover work. Many have chosen the original artwork over the alternative cover. We can only wait until another announcement of when "Afterbirth" will be release, but word in the Fly Boy Ent offices is that there will be 2 remixes for "I'ma Get Mines" the lead single from the "Afterbirth" project. Alot of detail of this album has been hidden under wraps of what it might be. So the people who are waiting can only do that.
Long before the people new of the infamous duo of Soulja and Cash. They both had they own place. Soulja had Fly Boy Ent and Cash had Dark Mafia. What was only a collaboration with Soulja that brought Cash over to Fly Boy Ent. Cash never forgot about Dark Mafia. After 2 mixtapes [Left 4 Ca$h, The Deadly Alliance], Multiple collaborations. April 17th, 2009 brings date that Dark Mafia and Fly Boy Ent joined in alliance of a mixtape. "Skullz & Flamez" is the finished product of that thought. Featuring 18 tracks of both artist from Dark Mafia and Fly Boy Ent. Soulja, Cash, Menace, and Legend all come together to make a work of art. The mixtape features remixes of "Step Out", "Put It 2 Ya" and "Kill 16s" along with "It Gets Crazy" a exclusive track from Cash solo mixtape "Stary Nights" which release date is soon to be announced.
The wait and the task of reading and hoping for "The New Coming [Chopped & Screwed]" is finally over. Seriously, this time it is. The album was released late Wednesday [6/8/09] evening. Although the album missed its April 1st release and its April 7th release. Better a day late than never for the fans who was waiting patiently since the first rumors started about this version of the album. Already the link has been posted on 2 of the 3 site that it was planned to be on and has been rumored that it has ever 100 Downloads in the first 20 mins it was released. In the listening session Soulja spasted out at every song. So the album is a hit. Check the song below for just what the album holds instore for you. You can now download the album at The Official Site of Fly Boy Ent in The Market.
As always Soulja cooks up something hot. "The Deadly Alliance" is the first collabraton mixtape of its kind. The mixtape brings together features from Soulja to independent artist as Julian Malown all on one mixtape. The format that brought this mixtape straight out to Chopped and Screwed is that the songs was previously done by Soulja himself and was set for individual download, but in joint effort to promote all artist. This mixtape was formed. We asked Soulja why was the mixtape called "The Deadly Alliance" he responded "Its just something rare that you see when so many great artist come together to make good music. That when it does happen something bad and deadly happens. Not to say that anything bad happen from this project. Just some restless nights but it got done." The mixtape is avaiable through inpendent download on FLYBOYENT.COM or through DATPIFF.COM
As many know "The New Coming" chopped and screwed version was to drop on April 1st, 2009. There was a release on the site of Fly Boy Ent. That the album is gonna be delayed some more days to April 7th, 2009 due to small mess ups. We hope that both Soulja and Fly Boy Ent comes through on this move. Its another big step in the album's overall success. We just have to wait and see. The countdown begins again for this release.
Many have been waiting on the release of "The New Coming [Chopped & Screwed]" since the release of a post about it on FLYBOYENT.COM back in late February early March. In mid March the confirm date of the release for the album was announced to the public April 1st, 2009. Was the date set, leaving questions to rise. On weather it was a official release or just another April Fools joke. We can only wait as fans anticipation arise for the release of this album. The plan of the release is to be on broad scales majoring in over 15 site to hold a download link. Main site that will hold the download first is FLYBOYENT.COM, ISCREWICHOPP.COM, SCREWORLD.COM stay tune to those sites for the release or any announcement of the album.
The album is still pushing forward after its December 22nd release in 2008. With a staggering number of download the album has pushed into its final numbers maybe. Recently it got word that "The New Coming" did over 500,000 download. Many speculated false numbers, but proper numbering indicates the album has over 456,135 downloads to date. The albums primary reach is found overseas in countries as Germany, New Zealand, London, and Puerto Rico. It suprises even Soulja that the album has done so well in other countries rather than the states. Even though the upcoming album "Afterbirth" is in production. Promotion for "The New Coming" still pushes with the release of a Chopped and Screwed version of the album coming soon. As for the rise in numbers we can only see how far they will reach before the release of the new album from Soulja or will the spotlight never leave "The New Coming"
